Paden Oklahoma - A paramedic could face charges after a scuffle with Oklahoma State Trooper Martin that was caught on cell phone camera.

It happened Sunday n Okfuskee County Oklahoma. That's about 70 miles southwest of Tulsa.

Kenyada Davis' mother was being transported in the ambulance and recorded the incident on his cell phone camera.

"Trooper Daniel Martin pulled over my mom's ambulance because he was mad we didn't pull over and he's trying to arrest the EMT from taking my mother to the hospital," Davis is seen saying on the recording.

Davis continues to record as first, one trooper can be seen talking to one of the paramedics. A couple of minutes later, State Trooper Martin is seen confronting another paramedic and attempting to arrest him. The paramedic can be seen shoving the trooper at which time the scuffle breaks out.

Maurice White, Jr. is the critical care paramedic seen in the video. In a statement, White says the trooper was upset because the ambulance driver didn't yield when the trooper approached from behind. White says the ambulance driver, Paul Franks, didn't see the trooper.

Trooper Daniel Martin pulled Franks over and was going to write a citation for failure to yield, but White says he tried to tell them they were on an emergency call and needed to take the patient to the hospital and that's when State Trooper Martin attempted to arrest White for obstructing an officer.

A brief struggle followed, at which point Trooper Daniel Martin grabbed White by the throat. Davis' cell phone captured this incident on video. White says the trooper later told him they could continue on to the hospital, but that he would be under arrest once they got there. White was never arrested, but says troopers told him he should be prepared to turn himself in if a warrant was issued.

The district attorney in Okfuskee County is expected to take a look at the video and may file charges as soon as this week.

I hope that something happens to the troopers Martin's own mother and shes unable to make it to the hospital. The state trooper seems to have a big ego, but actually is a little prick! Racism is still alive and well in the South, specially in Oklahoma.

From the report, statement made from police officers who refused to help a citizen:

"It's not our job to receive criminal complaints against another officer."

So who the fuck do you call?

So who do you call when you're being abused or your life is in danger from a police officer? I believe if you're being abused by a cop or you feel your life is in danger you have every right to kill. It doesn't matter who it is, a street thug or a police officer.

Once at a friends house the cops were called because of an argument with a wife and husband. Things were going ok with the cops until this one cop arrived. "You always have this cop who thinks he's some Billy bad ass mother fucker." He started giving this one guy attitude and that person told the cop more or less to fuck off until he showed some respect towards him, he in return would show respect for the cop. That's not asking too much now is it? Well the cop doesn't like his attitude and turns to where his side is to this guy and places his hand on his gun holster and unbuckles the holster. What blew my mind was what this guy said very calmly to the officer, "putting your hand on your gun is suppose to frighten me? It doesn't, in fact it threatens me. If you pull that gun you better kill me, because if you pull that gun someone will die and then it will be up to your cop buddies if I live or not."

Intense moment! The cop didn't pull his gun and everything was worked out and the cops left. What was so scary was that guy who made the statement to the cop, I believe would have done what he said. I was hating being in the cross fire.

trooper Daniel Martin

Postby WaTcHeR » 15 Jun 2009, Mon 5:38 pm

An Oklahoma state trooper who pulled over an ambulance with a patient inside and then scuffled with a paramedic had every right to make the stop since the vehicle did not have its emergency lights and sirens on, an attorney said Monday.

Gary James, an attorney for trooper Daniel Martin, also said at a news conference that the trooper is not the "ogre" he has been made out to be.

Interest in the May 24 incident has soared since authorities released video over the weekend that was taken by the dashboard camera in Martin's patrol car. The video shows paramedic Maurice White Jr. repeatedly telling Martin he has a patient in the back and wants to go to the hospital.

James said Martin had a legal right to pull over the ambulance for failing to yield the right of way when the patrol unit tried to pass it moments earlier. He also said White escalated the situation by challenging the trooper.

On the video, Martin tells White to get back into the ambulance and says he wants to talk to the driver, whom he accuses of making an obscene gesture at him.

Martin ended up scuffling with White and threatening to arrest him. Another trooper arrived and the ambulance was eventually allowed to continue to a hospital, where the patient was treated and later released.

The local district attorney reviewed the case and declined to file charges against either Martin or White. Martin has been placed on paid administrative leave during the Oklahoma Highway Patrol's internal investigation.

James said Martin is a decorated veteran who recently returned from military service in the Middle East.

"There's a lot of things that people ought to know about him," James said. "He's not this ogre, this depriver of people's rights."

White's attorney, Richard O'Carroll, said Martin was out of control during the incident. He wants his client's name cleared and "significant" remedial action taken against the trooper.

"If this kind of thing could happen to another professional, imagine what would happen to a suspected criminal in a dark alley," he said.

Officer Daniel Martin and Officer Tommy Allen

Postby WaTcHeR » 15 Nov 2009, Sun 12:19 pm

One of these days some good citizen is going to put a bullet in the head of Troopers Daniel Martin and that's alright by me.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers Daniel Martin and Tommy Allen assault a bystander trying to walk past a traffic stop Oct. 3 in Holdenville, OK.

After six weeks of paid leave, the troopers were excused for using excessive force by OHP's Internal Affairs.

The attorney for Kristopher Douglas, the man beaten, called the OHP's investigation a "dog-and-pony show" and "a sham," and called Martin a menace.

Trooper Daniel Martin is best known for stopping an ambulance last July carrying a heart attack victim and choking a paramedic he felt did not show him respect. The YouTube video of that incident, captured on cell phone, was the second most watched YouTube video worldwide at the time.

The troopers in this round claimed that Douglas confronted the troopers during the traffic stop of a worker's vehicle they claimed didnt yield sufficiently at a stop sign, which took place in his uncle's driveway where they were remodeling his house. The Troopers stated they felt threatened by Douglas as he tried to walk around the arrest scene, and that they thought he was drunk and on drugs.

As Douglas walks along the fence past the arrest, Trooper Martin leaves the arrest scene to confront Douglas, at one point leaping directly into Douglas' path.

Allen, the second Trooper, walks over and grabs Douglas's wrist. Allen would later say he felt threatened by Douglas when Douglas looked at the hand grabbing his wrist and then back at the trooper assaulting him.

At this point, Martin whips out a retractable baton, striking Douglas near the groin in the process, while Allen grabs Douglas by the neck in an attempt to take the man to the ground. As Douglas is complying with orders to put his hands behind his back, Martin strikes him again with the baton on his backside.

Douglas was arrested and charged with obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor. Douglas' uncle, Jerry Ford, witnessed the arrest and said the troopers overreacted and used excessive force.

Six weeks after the incident, where the OHP failed to interview any non-OHP witnesses and kept the dash cam video secret, the state police agency declared the troopers were justified in their use of force against Douglas and called the arrest "cut and dried."

Lt. Tim Tipton, the OHP's training officer on the use of force, led reporters through an elaborate explanation on how police use force, often contradicting what the video showed with his narration.

He said if Douglas had followed the officers' first command to get away from the traffic stop "this would have been over very quickly."
Tipton said Martin's use of the baton was appropriate and within standards used by police to subdue combative suspects.

The video shows Douglas' hands to his side throughout the incident, and no physical signs of combativeness.

Douglas' attorney, Richard O'Carroll of Tulsa, asked "Why not just let the gentleman walk by?".

He also asked why some of the witnesses to the arrest were never called to testify during the OHP's board hearing.

O'Carroll also is the attorney for Maurice White, the paramedic involved in the May 24 scuffle with Martin at Paden. White has filed a federal lawsuit against Martin.
