Officer Robert Huber threatened to shoot 3 school girl

A Newtown police officer and his wife are accused of threatening to shoot three teenage girls.

Investigators say the case started as a feud between two teenage girls at Finneytown middle school.

One girl's family, which included the Hubers, allegedly followed three teenage girls, including Rakia Doyle, home from school.

The other family allegedly called the girls names and flicked cigarettes at them.

In a Springfield Township police report, witnesses and some of the alleged victims say that Officer Robert Huber got out of a car and said, "I'm a cop. What are you going to do now?"

In addition, the report says that he and his wife Tara even threatened to shoot the girls.

Fourteen-year-old Rakia Doyle says Huber "got into her face," and, "He was just, like, you can be arrested and stuff."

The girl's parents, Robert and Stacey Doyle, filed their complaint with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts who determined there was enough probable cause to charge the Hubers with aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Stacey Doyle, Rakia's mother, is disturbed at Huber's alleged actions.

"Any adult that's involved in anything like that, I want to make sure that it is known that you don't mess with other people's kids in that way," said Doyle. "You do it in the right way."

In the meantime, Newtown Police Chief Tom Synan, says these are merely allegations by a few teens.

"The facts are that the officer was not armed, there was not a weapon shown." Chief Synan added, "From what I understand, right now, this is an on-going feud between juveniles."

"There was an adult witness who disputes all the allegations," said Synan.

From here, the Springfield Township police will now serve the Hubers with the arrest warrants after which a hearing will be set.
